Handout-Specific Notes
“Want to get AI running in your firm?” — SME AI Grants Quick Reference (August 2026)
This handout summarises selected Singapore government support schemes as at 14 August 2026. In addition to the General Disclaimer above, please note:
- The EDGE grant (consolidating PSG, EDG, and MRA) had been announced for the second half of 2026 but had not launched as at the handout date; its final parameters, launch date, and transition arrangements were not confirmed.
- The Enterprise Innovation Scheme category for qualifying AI expenditure (YA 2027–2028) had been announced, but IRAS had not yet published detailed guidance defining qualifying AI expenditure as at the handout date. Do not commit expenditure on the assumption of eligibility until IRAS publishes its finalised guidance.
- The redesigned SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit takes effect from 1 December 2026; credits under the current scheme expire on 30 November 2026 and details of the redesigned scheme may differ from those summarised.
- Grant amounts, co-funding percentages, cloud credit values, and eligibility criteria are indicative summaries only. Full and current terms are available from the administering agencies.
- Grants administered via the Business Grants Portal are generally not retrospective: payment made or contracts signed before grant approval may render a project ineligible. Always obtain approval before committing to a vendor.
